        GX1 - great balance of feel vs. protection

        I tried the GX1 after sending back other models which were too stiff for my type of riding. I don't ride hard enduro - which is what many CE certified boots seem designed for. I came across a review where the user had sustained 3 light crashes in GX1 boots without injury. I find they still have enough movement for easy gearchange and standing on pegs, plus walking to cafes and around venues. The GX1 have all areas Level 1 cover and some critical Level 2.
        Gaerne buld quality has also impressed me, with easy but rugged buckles, large calf adjustment and steel toe protection.
