The Leatt 4.5 Evo Enduro boot combines a protective TPU construction with the flexibility needed for technical off-road riding. An internal sliding ankle pivot system allows movement while supporting the ankle, with 3DF impact foam and TPU armour positioned over the padded ankle area. The low-profile toe box also gives useful clearance for changing gear. Leatt has kept the inside of the boot relatively flat to give good feel through the footrests and frame. The Enduro-specific sole was developed with Jonny Walker and provides balanced grip when walking or pushing the bike, while also giving good control of the gear lever and rear brake. The upper uses a flexible one-piece front bellow and an elastic collar to improve the seal around the leg. Four polymer buckles with stainless-steel bases secure the boot, while the SlideLock one-way closure and Velcro pull tab provide adjustment at the top. The 3D lower shell and steel-shank reinforcement provide structure underfoot, while the internal sliding and lateral ankle pivots allow the boot to move with the rider.
