The ProTaper Single Density 1/3 Waffle Grips are designed to replicate the factory-style grip setup that professional racers and mechanics have been creating for years. Traditionally, riders would modify a standard 1/2 waffle grip by removing one row of the waffle pattern. This creates a larger diamond-patterned surface while reducing the amount of waffle under the rider's fingers.
ProTaper has developed this factory-inspired design to provide riders with more usable grip surface, allowing for a secure hold with less hand pressure. The waffle pattern is positioned where the fingers naturally make contact, providing excellent grip and control without increasing the overall grip diameter.
