The Leatt Moto 5.5 Flexlock Enduro Evo is built around a combination of protection, movement and control, with an enduro-specific sole and a construction that allows useful feel through the foot controls. TPU protection covers the foot, heel, ankle and shin, while the low-profile toe box leaves room for positive gear changes.

At the centre of the boot is Leatt's adjustable FlexLock system. This allows the lower boot to be adjusted to restrict excessive ankle movement. Leatt states that the system can reduce forces at the ankle by up to 37% and at the knee by up to 35% when the ankle reaches over-flexion.

The boot also incorporates a revised collar, elastic fabric and front and rear bellows to give the rider more freedom of movement. The SlideLock closure at the top uses a one-way sliding mechanism, while four forged aluminium buckles provide the main fastening.

Protection and Enduro Construction

A rear torsion blade limits front-to-rear over-flexion, with 3DF impact foam positioned over the ankles. The reinforced TPU heel counter adds support around the heel, and the steel-shank reinforced sole is CE certified. The 3D bottom shell and extended footpeg riding zone are intended to maintain useful contact and feedback when standing on the pegs.

For longer rides, the two-piece padded and water-resistant inner lining adds comfort inside the boot. A heel anti-slip reinforcement and heel-grip ankle design provide additional stability around the foot.
